8 Reasons to Follow Your Dreams

Having recently made the decision to move back to Europe for an extended period of time, I’ve had the good fortune to run across a number of incredible sights and immediately identified with Nikola Tesla’s mural quote above. That very first line struck so true that my immediate thought was “I understand. I totally get you.” This move across the world marked a new era for me. My next epoch. A pivotal point. Yet while historically such moments would have been determined by the wishes of my parents and later my career, this particular move was prompted singlehandedly by my decision to search for my own true source of happiness. To follow my dreams – To do what I love, help those I care for and live a life without regrets. Needless to say, I’ve met resistance along the way. From naysayers. From those who care for me but were simply scared for my wellbeing. From those who do not understand. However, I am determined and cannot be dissuaded. I follow a path, which I chose and one I feel I must pursue. Should you find yourself in a similar position, below are eight reasons to follow your dreams. 1. Do it for you You will never achieve anything worthwhile until you do it for yourself. Chase what makes you happy. Not what you expect will make others in your life happy. New Design, New Logo, New Start

New Design, New Logo, New Start

To say that this has been my most significant and influential year to date would be an understatement. The last few months in particular have taken me on a roller coaster ride littered with cruel, unfair realities of life and personal tragedies; as well as shown me the depths of true friendship and given me front seat views to hard work actually paying off. Yeah. I know, right!? Who would have thought? Ultimately all of this brought about the realization that 2015 will be an even bigger and greater year. This combination, albeit brutal at times, has given me the motivation to become a better man and do better by others like never before. It’s a good time to get around me if you haven’t already. You know. Just sayin’. One of the super awesome results of my surge in motivation is the resurrection of this long neglected site with a refreshed look, a definitive purpose, scheduled quality content and a brand spankin’ new logo! For those of you that didn’t know, graphics design (and in particular branding and logo development), has been a passion of mine for quite a number of years. So without further ado… So what do you think? This logo is a result of a few dozen attempts at a design to incorporate my initials or my name into a geometric shape using negative space in a minimalist way, if you haven’t already noticed the obvious.
